From Interstate 81 South
- Take exit #245
- At the end of the exit ramp there is a traffic light. Take a RIGHT onto Port Republic Road and remain in the right lane.
- You will go a short distance to another traffic light where you will see an entrance to campus on your right.
- Turn RIGHT and enter the James Madison University campus. You are now on Bluestone Dr.
- Continue on Bluestone Dr. You will see a number of parking spots on your right; a lake and campus buildings on your left.
- Take the first RIGHT off of Bluestone Drive onto Carrier Dr. at the first stoplight on campus.
- Carrier Drive will lead you back over the interstate. The CISAT/HHS building is on the right and the parking lot (D2) is across the street. There are guest parking and reserved CSD clinic parking spots available. A visitor parking permit (available through JMU parking services) is required for parking in the D2 lot.
From Interstate 81 North
- Take exit #245
- At the end of the exit ramp there is a traffic light. Take a LEFT onto Port Republic Road and remain in the right lane. You will cross back over the interstate.
- At the second traffic light, after turning onto Port Republic Rd., you will turn RIGHT and enter campus on Bluestone Dr.
- Continue on Bluestone Dr. You will see a number of parking spots on your right & a lake and campus buildings on your left.
- Take the first RIGHT off of Bluestone Dr. onto Carrier Dr. at the first stoplight on campus.
