Audiology & Hearing Science

The symposium content is aimed at providing the practicing audiologist with knowledge of contemporary issues involved in the identification, diagnosis & management of hearing and balance disorders. All sessions will take place at James Madison University.
2018 Keynote Speaker
Judy R. Dubno, Ph.D., Professor and Director of the Hearing Research Program in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina
Keynote presentation: Estimating Treatment Delay: Time from Hearing-aid Candidacy to Hearing-aid Adoption
Saturday presentation: Assessing Self-Reported Hearing Handicap from Middle Aged to Older Adults
