Dr. Cynthia R. O'Donoghue (Communication Sciences and Disorders) and Dr. Cara Meixner (Graduate Psychology; Center for Faculty Innovation) received $125,000 from the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS)
At the 2013 Guangzhou International Symposium of Special Education in Guangzhou, China, Dr. Vicki Reed participated as a visiting expert.
Shenandoah Valley Scottish Rite Club has been a consistent donor to the Communication Sciences and Disorders Summer Autism Clinic at JMU.
On September 28th the Student Academy of Audiology, James Madison University chapter, hosted the 2013 White Coat Ceremony in the Leeolou Alumni Center. The ceremony is held annually to celebrate the first year doctor of audiology students and welcome them into the profession.
