Shenandoah Valley Scottish Rite Club has been a consistent donor to the Communication Sciences and Disorders Summer Autism Clinic at JMU.
On September 28th the Student Academy of Audiology, James Madison University chapter, hosted the 2013 White Coat Ceremony in the Leeolou Alumni Center. The ceremony is held annually to celebrate the first year doctor of audiology students and welcome them into the profession.
RMH and JMU celebrated the official opening of the new voice and swallowing services clinic, a joint venture between the Harrisonburg hospital and James Madison University. Patients with voice and swallowing difficulties can now be treated in the hospital in a dedicated clinic.
It is no secret that recent economic conditions have impacted funds available for research grants. Limited funds have required government agencies to become more prudent with grant applications and increased dependence on the scientific expertise of review committees.
