This interactive visualization depicts patterns of world immigration over past decades. Patterns are depicted on a typical map as well as on a bar chart display (selected by tabs at the top).

First select the year of immigration from the choices on the lower left and then move the slider rightward to increase the relative amount of immigration for the selected year.

Switching between the views (tabs at the top) or between years or by changing the relative amount of movement (slider) reveals interesting differences in human migration patterns across the world. (Noftsinger Newbold Gray Delp, B.  2008.
